Let's Start Something Special Together

In 1981 Professor John Bettlesone, Professor of Science Education at University College Cardiff, launched the Science Drama Competition.
Initially very few schools entered the competition which was won by Blaencwm Primary School with their production of Slime, an ecological morality tale.

From this humble beginning the competition grew into first a nationwide and eventually an international phenomenon. The success of the Science Drama Competition significantly contributed towards the foundation of the Techniquest Centre in Cardiff Bay.

No Problem!"
